TODAY I got an email from Lulu saying they put my book on amazon for me.
Are they doing this with everyone's books? Should I be flattered?
ANYWAY write a review calling me a pervert.

Monday my siblings dragged me kicking and screaming to see Star Trek. I am a nerd but Star Trek was always the FINAL FRONTIER for me.. like, I AM TOO COOL FOR THAT SHIT GEEZ. I am also getting tired of geek movies in general.
It wasn't that terrible, though. For some reason New Spock's moist, smooth, lumpy face lingers in my mind. My favoritest thing was the Vulcan shota bullies!! :D
But since Vulcan gets destroyed there probably won't be any of them in future movies so I dont think I'll be watching the sequel.

On Sunday I squatted an empty table in Fanimae's artist alley.
There wasn't very much customer action because I squatted a shitty spot where no one would yell at me. Also I packed light because I didn't know if I would get away with it~
I'm not a big fan of Fanime, it's not big enough to be awe-inspiring like AX, and not small enough to be cozy.

Fffffffffffff, figures I managed to miss you at Fanime. I don't think I made it to the AA on Sunday though.
On Monday I commented to [info]toggy that I wished you were there in the AA to de-fag it of the shinydesu animu art, though.

I spotted some good artists there, but they only had huge expensive prints or originals for sale.

Fanimu's AA seems pretty poorly put together. I don't have PROOF but it just seemed like the aisles were waaay too wide.

Some of the aisles were too wide and some were too thin. I really don't get it.

There was a really neat booth that had tshirts with the stories behind the images on the tshirts printed on the inside of the shirt. I didn't check to see how much they were, but there was a pretty awesome one with a shark on it. :\
I took home a few business cards from some of the neat artists that had them though. I should dig them out of my pants pocket.

I think it's automatic if you pay a certain amount...?

I've never been fond of Star Trek and most geek movies leave me feeling annoyed. :/ I like me some horror and martial arts movies though. :)

Lulu did it to me, too. As far as I can tell, books 1, 3 and 4 are now available on Amazon for a steep price increase and no savings on shipping whatsoever. Didn't spot 2, making this even more ridiculous.

no one wanted my stupid Nintendo keychains this year but we still made enough $$$ to pay for our hotel room and food and whatnot so I ain't gonna complain

My mum always watched Star Trek as I grew up, and my bf even watches it. Thank god I turned out immune to it.

I dig a lot of Star Trek, and loved the new movie, but I also watched far more retarded stuff as a kid (AIRWOLF, RIPTIDE, DUKES OF FUCKING HAZZARD) so Trek is on the higher end of my viewing habits. :D Might be a generation thing, my gen-X friends tend to love the Trek, my Gen-Y friends tend not to (probably because it's been crap since ST:TNG)
