This is for myself but if you have any input lemme hear it hurr durr

- I came up with a plot I am EXCITED TO DRAW, and I already penciled the first two pages, I am pretty happy with myself SO FAR

- Trying to think of a title. D: D:

- I'm so tempted to host my comic someplace like webcomicsnation.com ...I'm gonna try to keep it R rated, so I don't think I'd run afoul of their 'no erotica' clause.
..BUT I'm just gonna host it on my website the way I always do it, that way da man can't censor my speeches.

- I should do more research on STUFF but I'm just gonna wing it for now, let's see how terribly inaccurate I make things!!

I'm gonna go to the library and read a FAT STACK of books while worrying that some mob dude is gonna snipe me.

I'm on volume 14 out of 19. I don't think there was a single female character in the volume (except for crowd scenes). Shit was cash.

I think even a sausage-fest like Banana Fish can be feminist, by showing what happens when misogyny is followed to it's logical conclusion. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?
Also Akimi Yoshida probably has a LOT of issues, but whatever

Vanguard Princess, however, is beautiful. :O :O
When I heard 'all girl fighting game,' I worried that it will be all gross and perverted, but it's actually quite classy! :O
The mechanics seem really solid, too. I love the long ranged characters. I hope it gets popular because I am so sick of touhou and vocaloid CRAP. Also Blazblue looks supershitty and I hope this overshadows it. /weeaboo

Since I finished 9knives, I've been wondering what I should do next for a webcomic. I have problems keeping up with webcomics myself, but it still appears to be a good way of getting attention on the internet...

I finally have some ideas! If you have read my comics, maybe you can give me feedback AND SUGGEST WHICH ONE I SHOULD MAKE???

a sequel to nine knives that takes place 5 years later. I already have a pretty good idea of a plot for this, it would be horribly trashy but that's what you people want, right?! I really want to work on something new, though.

A horn people comic with completely new characters, set in a country with Castrati-like male singers. It would also probably contain priests. This would probably take a while to research, although it's not going to be historical by any means.

A horn people comic about gangsters/prison, like a misandrist version of bradherley's coach.. （´∀｀） I would also like to go into the criminal underworld of horn people world. This would probably take a lot of work as well. I am really REALLY enjoying the manga Banana Fish right now, I'm into thugs I guess.

Of course I'd love to do a comic that didn't have horn people, I just figure I'd make more stories set in this universe because people didn't tell me STOP MAKING THE HORN PEOPLE COMICS THEY ARE RIPPING OFF LOVELESS or whatever

If you are tired of horn people please don't be afraid to tell me hahaha.

I'd also like to work with better writers than myself on projects.

I drew this (nsfw) for guro_exchange, kind of a rush job.

Banana Fish is awesome, I am borrowing it from a friend. The first volume was a little hard to get through but after that it gets FUN & cute. Keikaku doori and constant talk about the rape of underage boys OH YEAH.

Recently I find myself fascinated by thoughts of disgusting cyber-body horror. I want to play Prototype pretty badly, but I hate how much new games cost.
In the meantime I found this very good anime and possible inspiration for BIO APOCALYPSE?!

OK you people were sorta right, Macs are pretty gimpy. It sucks not having all my programs.
BUT I am really enjoying my imac's monitor. It's like I'm CGing again for the first time! TEARS OF JOY. ;__;
Protip: DONT DO COLOR ART ON NOTEBOOKS unless you really hate yourself like I did.

I drew some sketches for matt again, also I made SKULLNIGHT. Y'know, back in the day I would have been at a loss what to do when someone sez "draw my wow guy." They seem to target party drugs on this website, so it really annoyed me that they didn't include alcohol. I've wanted a mac since like I was a kid, but I grew up with classists who insisted on the more blue-collar Windows. I STILL LIKE WINDOWS FOR VARIOUS REASONS, but I always wanted to have a mac to play with. TEH END GUYS

I halfway watched the anime version of Claymore and like, it's totally feminist, right? Am I crazy?

The Claymores represent what society expects of the modern female:

-to still be subservient to male leadership
-to not be emotional
-to be doll-like sex objects
-to remain chaste / not be a whore

One rebels against them, and she's the hero.

I'm sorry for the twitter posts! They are gay. But I gotta say, twitterfox actually makes twitter kind of awesome.
I can tell this type of internet communication is in it's infancy, but it's THE NEXT BIG THING, I tell ya.

I am a little scared of the day when instead of smartphones, we all have computers in our brains, and we can constantly send "neo-tweets" out to our group of friends, and we won't be able to fully enjoy real life anymore. We'll be eating at a fancy restaurant and instead of appreciating the flavor and the atmosphere we are telling our monkeysphere of friends "O WOW THIS STAKE IS GOOD!"
And we won't even realize it because we'll all having so much fun TWEETING IN OUR BRAINS.

I think.. eventually.. instead of internet use being a outlet for the lonely, the wired will cure, or at least ameliorate humanity's existential loneliness. WE'LL ALL BE TOGETHER IN THE WIRED

I also came to realize the key to lasting success in character design is to have your character be recognizable and distinct at a single glance. One of the reasons FF7 is popular with kids to this day is because almost all of the characters were individual and iconic. Nomura's subsequent designs were unrecognizable lumps of zippers n belts. I absolutely hate it.

Poll: What's nomura's FUGLIEST character design? I vote Nooj.

The reason I don't make catty politics blog posts much anymore is I finally realized right wing and left wing people BOTH want Ahmur'ka to improve and become a better country.

Monday my siblings dragged me kicking and screaming to see Star Trek. I am a nerd but Star Trek was always the FINAL FRONTIER for me.. like, I AM TOO COOL FOR THAT SHIT GEEZ. I am also getting tired of geek movies in general.
It wasn't that terrible, though. For some reason New Spock's moist, smooth, lumpy face lingers in my mind. My favoritest thing was the Vulcan shota bullies!! :D
But since Vulcan gets destroyed there probably won't be any of them in future movies so I dont think I'll be watching the sequel.

On Sunday I squatted an empty table in Fanimae's artist alley.
There wasn't very much customer action because I squatted a shitty spot where no one would yell at me. Also I packed light because I didn't know if I would get away with it~
I'm not a big fan of Fanime, it's not big enough to be awe-inspiring like AX, and not small enough to be cozy.

update: I didn't buy raido vs. The whatever. I recently bought MGS4 and I barely have time to play that even though it's been AWESOME so far. Octopus fishing village cult.

I was lookin for inspiration for my current sketchbook commission* and found out moleskine scrapbooking is kind of a big deal. Some of the stuff is pretty classy, unlike the trashy sketches I usually fill sketchbooks with. :D

I'm wondering what kind of glue is best for plain-paged moleskines? I'll find out!!!
